The “Analyzer toolbar” appears when you view the results of a simulation. This toolbar is present both if the frontmost window is a main document window for a simulation data file, or a plot window created from such a file.
Most of the buttons in the “Analyzer toolbar” are used either to create plots, to add more curves to existing plots, or to remove overlay curves from existing plots.
The various plot types can be grouped into three categories:
• Simple plots
• XY-plots
• Series plots
If the frontmost window is a plot window, only the buttons dealing with this plot category can be used. Thus, if e.g., the active window contains a simple plot, e.g., a S-curve, and you click one of the XY-plot buttons, e.g., the “Scatter plot” button, then nothing happens.
